Pier and Beam Repair

Foundation damage is not all the same. Foundation repairs, to be effective, must be designed for the specific problem.

Many contractors have one "tool". This "tool" may be steel piers, concrete piers, chemical treatment of the soil, moisture addition to the soil, or moisture diverted from the soil. Piers may be pushed, driven, drilled or hand dug.
They may be made of three inch drill pipe, six inch concrete cylinders, 4'x4' concrete pads or 4" galvanized steel cylinders driven to rock or refusal.

The bottom line:  most of these methods will work somewhere. None will work everywhere. The big question is: are you dealing with someone who has the right tools and knows how to use them?

I will carefully examine each property.   I will determine the cause of the problem and recommend the most cost effective procedure, to not only reposition the structure, but to prevent a reoccurrence.

If you elect, I will provide oversight on any repair procedures you may choose to have done.
